This is the time for Brazil to start working, in order to deliver an unforgettable event, in only 5 years. Ricardo Vargas mentioned many crucial subjects, but one in particular is specially important for this country: Deliver what you have best.
Brazil should take it´s cultural skills and experience, and give the world a show we will not forget. Be sure to have a special committee inside the central PMO that will take care of showing each region’s specific cultural richness, in order for everyone to get the most out of this unique opportunity of being in the global spotlight.
I’m glad to see other project managers thinking about this megaproject, and I’m sure Ricardo Vargas’ contribution will raise even more awareness to this subject.

Parabéns por chamar a atenção sobre este tema cuja repercussão ecoará pelo mundo afora (seja ela negativa ou positiva).
Concordo 100% contigo quando fala na utilização de um escritório de projetos para coordenar os trabalhos. Creio que este é um típico PROGRAMA que exige que os esforços sejam coordenados conjuntamente, pois de nada adianta ter os estádios prontos, mas sem a infraestrutura de transportes, hospedagem, etc.
Fica nossa torcida para que as pessoas à frente deste programa, se utilizem dos profissionais de gerenciamento que o Brasil possui e possa fazer desta Copa do Mundo uma enorme propaganda positiva para o Brasil.

Me perdoa mas eu preciso fazer um comentário com você a respeito deste seu Podcast da Copa do Mundo no Brasil em
2014. Eu havia inicialmente concordado com relação a necessidade de se estabelecerem as reais prioridades do projeto. Por exemplo: o que seria prioritário reformar o Estádio ou o Aeroporto. Agora eu preciso contar pra você que ontem eu estava preso na Marginal do Pinheiros, que é caminho do Morumbi, e que devido a forte chuva uma boa parte ficou alagada. Eu pensei,o PM tambem vai ter que pensar nesse tipo de problema,alem dos Aeroportos e Estadios,os alagamentos em Sao Paulo agora tambem poderão ocorrer na época Copa, imagina o caos, alem dos problemas que temos com falta de segurança, hospitais, transporte, educação do povo etc… teremos que pensar tambem nos alagamentos das Marginais em Sao Paulo.
Chegando em Campinas lembrei que o Trem Bala que vai ligar Campinas a São Paulo e Rio também “vai ser iniciado” em 2010 e tem como objetivo terminar antes até 2014 para a Copa. Apenas como referencia, no Japão êles levaram 5 anos para colocar o trem para rodar. Imagina aqui com ano eleitoral, nossos politicos se matando, brigando pelos proprios interesses…
Agora a bola da vez é o Pre-sal e compra dos prioritarios ?caça franceses. Tanta corrupção,tantos mega projetos iniciados, varias usinas hidroeletricas tambem iniciando, problemas em outros estados, problemas grandes com Educação, Saude,Presidios, Transportes etc… Imagina se um turista ou dirigente da FIFA for assaltado ou morto no RJ. Deus me livre…. Sem falar no monte de favelas que estão sempre nos locais mais improprios perto das Marginais ,Aeroportos e Estadios.
Não podemos só pensar no Projeto Copa do Mundo para definir as
prioridades, tem-se que pensar a nivel global…
Será que o Trem Bala é prioridade para a Copa do Mundo? Tenho certeza que é prioridade para o bem social do
pessoal que mora no Sudeste e é prioridade para os politicos poderem se eleger, mas não adianta ter Trem Bala
e os bandidos pondo fogo em onibus, balas perdidas, insegurança, arrastão nas rodovias etc…
Resumindo,apesar de eu tambem querer muito que a Copa do Mundo fosse um sucesso para o Brasil eu agora queria te dizer que infelizmente não vamos ter sucesso nem no Projeto do Trem Bala e nem na Copa do Mundo. Tenho absoluta certeza que vai ser um desastre.
Infelizmente.
Gostaria de estar errado.
Imagina se o PT cria um escritorio centralizado agora cheio de companheiros e o partido da oposição ganhar as eleiçoes
no ano que vem. Não vai sobrar ninguem e as prioridades não serão mais as mesmas.
